Membership in the Begin Classes program is valid for one (1) year from the date of enrollment and is non-refundable under all circumstances.


Members are not employees, contractors, or representatives of Begin Classes or Begin CPR; they participate solely as independent individuals.


Membership provides access to American Red Cross training materials and includes eligibility for Begin Classes’ exclusive discount of 35% off select American Red Cross certificates. Certificate pricing is subject to change based on American Red Cross pricing updates. On January 1, 2026, certificate pricing will automatically adjust to reflect the new rates while maintaining the 35% discount. www.begincpr.com/certificatefeeschedule


Members are responsible for processing certificates to their students. Per American Red Cross guidelines, certificates must be processed within 10 days of completing a class. Members must process the payment or certificates by credit card.


Membership does not renew automatically; members must re-enroll each year to continue receiving access and benefits. No additional rights, payments, or employment benefits are granted through this membership.

STEPS TO BECOMING ALIGNED WITH BEGIN CLASSES

  1. Verify Instructor Certification

    • Be a certified American Red Cross Instructor and/or American Heart Association Instructor.

    • Instructor credentials are required to gain benefits from the respective organization.
       

  2. Complete the Initial Inquiry Form

    • Fill out the Instructor Connect Onboarding Form to begin the process.
       

  3. Review and Sign Contract

    • Upon receipt of your form, your contract will be drafted and email you within 1-2 business days along with exclusive certificate pricing details.

    • Review and e-sign contract.
       

  4. Submit Payment

    • Once your contract and payment terms are finalized, you will receive a digital invoice.

    • Pricing will be prorated based on your start date
       

  5. Gain Instructor Access

    • After all steps are completed, you’ll officially be added as an Instructor with Begin Classes LLC.

    • Begin Classes LLC will appear in your drop-down list of Organizations when using Course Record Entry and Request Blended Class in your Red Cross Learning Center.

    • Certificate will state the course was conducted by Begin Classes LLC with your name listed as the Instructor
      (This cannot be changed for extended discounted pricing)

    • Payments for certificate issuance must be paid by credit card directly through the Red Cross Learning Center.

    • Please note: All funds for American Red Cross certificates are remitted directly to the American Red Cross.
      Begin Classes does not receive any portion of these payments.
