Online Portion

If you are experiencing technical issues with the Online Portion, please call Red Cross 1(800)733-2767.

What is Blended Learning?
Student will be able to complete an online course at their convenience followed by an in-person skill evaluation with an Instructor.



How do I access the online course?
You will receive an email from Salesforce with instructions on how to access the online course (may appear in SPAM folder) If you have not received it by the following morning please contact us at admin@begincpr.com

2nd Method to access online course:
1. Visit www.redcrosslearningcenter.org
2. Click "Log In" in upper right corner
3. Click "Forgot Password"
4. Enter email used during enrollment, disregard the auto-generated username ending in 001.

Once you have created a new password, return to www.redcrosslearningcenter.org and Log In to access the online course.

 

If you encounter a technical issue in launching the course please try the following:

 

1. Updating your browser

 

2. Using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge)

 

3. If that doesn't work, please contact The American Red Cross Technical Support at 1 (800) 733-2767

 


Do I need BLS or CPR? 

CPR Training is generally what is taken if participants are not healthcare providers. If First Aid is required in addition to CPR, please ensure you enroll in a CPR with First Aid Course.

If you are a Healthcare Provider, enroll in BLS (Basic Life Support).

Do I need American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA)? 


It is best to contact your school or employer to verify which Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification you need.

 

Below is information received from program directors and/or .gov websites:

  • Both ARC and AHA certification is accepted by the CA Dental Board, CCSF EMT Program.

  • Only AHA Certification is accepted by CSM's EMT program, Employees working in hospitals, UCSF Pharmacy.

How much time do I have to complete the online course?
You will have until your scheduled in-person skills session to complete the online portion. If you are unable to finish before then, we can reschedule your hands-on evaluation. Please view Terms & Conditions for cancellation policy.

 


How can I sign up for Blended Learning?
Visit the ENROLL page to choose your course and desired date and time. Full payment is required upon checkout. 


Do you offer full courses?
No


How can I find my digital certificate?
You will receive your digital certificate by email once you have successfully completed the course. 

 

ARC Students
Visit https://www.redcross.org/take-a-class/digital-certificate and enter the information you provided upon enrollment.

You may login to your account at www.redcrosslearningcenter.org and click My Certification in the navigation bar.

AHA Students:

Visit https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards

Please contact us if  you are unable to locate your certification the following business day of your session.

American Red Cross

American Heart Association

Nurses: No. CPR and BLS courses is listed as an unacceptable course for CEUs.

All other professions, please contact your accrediting body to see if they will accept/award CE credits for any ARC or AHA course you complete successfully. 

 


Is your CPR EMSA Approved?

EMSA FAQ
Yes, you can take pediatric First Aid and CPR training from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. No, an EMSA sticker should not be on the American Red Cross or American Heart Association completion cards. It is illegal for the EMSA Stickers to be placed on these cards.

 

Is proof of vaccination required?

No, COVID-19 vaccine is not required to participate in a course. However, a mask must be worn at all times and a no-contact temperature check is required at the start of the session. Please note, if you have a fever or display any COVID/flu-like symptoms, you will be asked to reschedule.
